About us - About ZEMS
Zero Emission Studio AS is a young company with a vision to contribute knowledge that enables more low-energy and zero-emission buildings.
Our services range from concept development, energy concepts and sustainability strategies to the preparation of environmental programs and Environmental Management Plan (EMP), development of detailed solutions and energy calculations for energy-efficient buildings. We also provide the BREEAM AP role and assist with applications for funding, for example from Enova. In addition, we follow up requirements from various flagship initiatives such as FutureBuilt and perform LCA calculations.
Team
Michael Lommertz
Michael is the managing and technical director of Zero Emission Studio and has worked on some of the most ambitious sustainability projects in Norway in recent years. He has worked with sustainability since the late 1990s and has nearly 20 years of project experience in Norway. Michael is a chartered architect (MNAL). He led the Norwegian Association of Architects’ sustainability division Ecobox and was project manager for several flagship initiatives such as FutureBuilt, Future Villages and Wood and City. At Bollinger+Grohmann, he worked on several zero-emission (ZEB-COM) projects including the Climate House in Oslo, Pier 38 (headquarters of the Port of Oslo) and Urban Village at Furuset. At Statsbygg, he worked on Norway’s first ZEB-COM building for Hedmark University College at Evenstad.
Helga Simenstad
Helga Simenstad is a certified BREEAM NOR auditor with several years of experience in the reuse segment, including project management and quality assurance in reuse processes.
Per Lenschow
Per, a civil engineer, has more than 40 years of experience in international and multicultural marketing, sales, project management, customer support and R&D of advanced technical products and systems in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Per works as a freelancer at ZEMS.
Per Anda
Per Anda, chartered architect MNAL, has many years of experience in sustainable design and construction from, among others, NAL Ecobox and various architectural firms. Per works as a freelancer at ZEMS.
Barbara Hasenmüller
Barbara has 32 years of experience in sustainability and architecture and has particularly strong expertise in alternative material use. She also has many years of experience in architectural guiding and communication. Barbara works as a freelancer at ZEMS.
Heidrun Lommertz
Heidrun has 23 years of experience in architecture and is a BREEAM AP. She also has many years of experience in universal design and municipal case handling. Heidrun has worked for many years as a practicing architect and works as a freelancer at ZEMS.
